Prior to admission, patients can view assigned videos that help prepare them for their hospital stay. Pre-admission videos provide specific education and instructions based on the condition of the patient. These can include prescribed clinical videos, instructions on restricted diet before surgery, or reminders to bring documents and insurance cards.
Patients and caregivers can continue viewing education videos and documentation after discharge from an inpatient hospital stay. Education content is streamlined from the EMR to the patient and after the patient completes their assigned education it is reported back into the EMR. Clinical teams have the opportunity to view education video completion through the EMR or on the Sonifi Health Nursing Dashboard.
