- Wondering which TVs to buy?
Our TV Compatibility Program helps make purchasing decisions easier by identifying TVs or HD displays that support the full functionality of SONIFI HEALTH Solutions in digital MATV and/or IPTV delivery formats. Test procedures are developed and followed to ensure an easy-to-use experience for your patients, visitors and staff. Current program participants include LG, Panasonic, PDI, Philips, RCA, and Samsung.

- About the Program
We test televisions and HD displays submitted by TV vendors for compatibility with our solution. On successful completion of that testing, we provide a report to the TV vendor, and include the television or HD display model line in our list of compatible sets. The inclusion of a model line means only that SONIFI HEALTH Solutions tested a single sample provided by the vendor, and that the sample was found to be compatible with our system. Results apply only to the sample tested. We do not and cannot provide any assurance that the actual TV or HD display selected for purchase is electronically and functionally identical for the purpose of compatibility to the model tested. Only the TV vendor can provide that assurance to the healthcare facility.
- Our Recommendation
Healthcare facilities considering the purchase of TVs or HD displays should require the selected TV vendor to warrant in writing that the model(s) purchased are compatible with the SONIFI HEALTH Solutions system, and that the model(s) meet the needs and expectations of the healthcare facility. In addition, the healthcare facility must make an independent decision with respect to the suitability of a specific TV or HD display regarding such matters as ease of use, service life, picture quality and viewer satisfaction. Additionally, our compatibility testing does NOT consider picture quality. Picture quality is largely a subjective matter, and varies widely among manufacturers. Each healthcare facility is urged to exercise diligence with respect to its display purchase decisions.
